All of our staff are chosen for their skill, experience and dedication to patient care. Our team of more than 85 doctors and board certified specialists, certified technicians, and support staff regularly attend medical conferences, lectures, and meetings to stay current with advances in veterinary health care. We also host in-house continuing education for our doctors and staff, as well as for local veterinarians and their staff.

All of our veterinary specialists are board certified.
What is a board certified specialist? After completing undergraduate education and four years of veterinary school to become a doctor of veterinary medicine, a specialist must receive an additional two to five years of advanced education and training in an accredited residency program. They then must pass a rigorous national board examination to receive board certification in their specialty.

The Fox Valley Animal Referral Center recognizes that caring is as important to patient care as medical expertise. For this reason, we not only recruit highly skilled people, we also hire for heart.
