Dr Lowe grew up in southern Ontario, Canada where he obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Guelph.
Following his internship Dr Lowe moved to Urbana, Illinois where he completed a three year residency in veterinary dermatology at the University of Illinois. While there Dr. Lowe also obtained a Master of Science degree in Veterinary Clinical Medicine.
Dr Lowe's particular interests are in the management of allergic and autoimmune skin and ear diseases. Dr. Lowe has written several articles for international journals and textbooks and he looks forward to helping the patients and veterinarians of Fox Valley in the control of these chronic and frustrating conditions.
Dr. Lowe lives with his wife Erin, their allergic Golden Retriever Deirdre, and two cats, Isis and Alex. Dr Lowe enjoys racquetball and rock-climbing in his spare time and is beginning to enjoy the joys of golf.
