Dedicated to Pet Health and Owner EducationTerri Cole - DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
Specialty: Special Interests: Education: Residency: Certification: Dr. Terri Cole joined the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center in July 2001 as one of the first board certified internal medicine specialists. She grew up on a family ranch in both North and South Dakotas. Following veterinary school in Colorado she moved to Alaska, where she practiced in a busy three-doctor hospital and was quickly promoted to medical director. After four years in Alaska, Dr. Cole and her family returned to the Midwest to be closer to extended family. As one of the few board certified veterinary internist in the Appleton/Green Bay area, Dr. Cole has made significant contributions to the well-being of pets in the Fox Valley and Northeastern Wisconsin. Expertly trained in all aspects of internal medicine, she is particularly interested in minimally invasive diagnostic options, including endoscopy, cystoscopy, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, laparoscopy and ultrasound. Dr. Cole places an emphasis on client education, so owners can play an instrumental role in their companions' disease management. A dedicated specialist, Dr. Cole enjoys reading veterinary journals and texts to stay on top of the latest techniques as well as for leisure. She also enjoys outdoor activities with her family, especially hiking (or "adventure walks"), camping, horseback riding and teaching her two young children to ride horses with Grandpa. With the longer summer season here, she also has become a fledgling gardener. In addition to her supportive husband and two beautiful children, the Cole household also includes two dogs and a cat. We at the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center are pleased to offer the comprehensive medical knowledge and experience of this meticulous, dedicated veterinarian. Dr. Cole has brought many state-of-the-art, minimally invasive techniques to the Valley that previously were not available locally.
