Ruth Peters - DVM, MS

Department:  Emergency and Critical Care Medicine and Surgery

Dr. Ruth Peters attended veterinary school in Virginia, graduating in 1995. For the past ten years she worked in general practice with an emphasis on preventative medicine and client education. She developed progressive integrated pain control and senior wellness programs. Dr. Peters is excited to be expanding her skills in emergency and critical care medicine while working side-by-side with the specialists at the Referral Center. Dr. Peters is active in theater and enjoys pottery, sewing, and outdoor activities with her husband and two children. The Peters have two cats and a Jack Russel "Terror."
