Founded in 1996, the Fox Valley
Animal Referral Center was
invited to Northeast Wisconsin by
the primary care veterinarians of
the Fox Valley and nearby
communities. For nearly a
decade, our doctors have
worked as part of a team with
primary care veterinarians
to provide specialty care,
advanced diagnostics, and
around-the-clock emergency
and critical care services.

In 1999, we established the Green Bay Animal Emergency Center, and in 2000, the management company, Horizon Veterinary Services, Inc., was founded to oversee operations of the Fox Valley Animal Referral Center and the Green Bay Animal Emergency Center, as well as the Horizon School of Veterinary Assisting.
 
Today, our referral center has more than 85 doctors, technicians, and support staff who are dedicated to the health and comfort of our patients. We continue to expand our services and to explore new ways to bring advanced veterinary care to veterinarians and pet owners in the Midwest.
